Welcome to Heykara! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Heykara's services, including our hospitality offerings (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Heykara's Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Services. By accessing or using our Services, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using our Services on behalf of an organization, you warrant that you have the necessary authority to do so.

3. Services Provided

Heykara offers a range of hospitality services, including but not limited to:

  • Laundry Services – Professional washing, drying, ironing, and folding services for individuals and businesses.
  • Home Cleaning Services – Thorough and professional cleaning of residential spaces, including deep cleaning, routine maintenance, and specialized services.
  • Meal Services – Preparation and delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals to customers' homes or workplaces.

We may introduce new services or modify existing ones at any time without prior notice.

4. Account Registration & Security

  • You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify Heykara immediately.
  • Heykara reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these Terms.

5. Fees & Payments

  • Pricing for Services will be clearly communicated before a transaction is completed.
  • Payments are required at the time of service unless otherwise specified.
  • We accept multiple payment methods, including credit/debit cards, mobile payments, and bank transfers.
  • All payments are final, and refunds are only issued in specific circumstances as outlined in our Refund Policy.
  • You authorize Heykara to charge your selected payment method for all agreed-upon fees.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Customers can cancel a service request within a specified period before the scheduled service time. Cancellation policies may vary depending on the service booked.
  • Refunds may be issued under certain conditions, such as service non-fulfillment due to Heykara's fault.
  • Heykara reserves the right to refuse refunds for cancellations made outside the allowed timeframe.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use our Services for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes.
  • Misrepresent yourself or provide false information.
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of our Services, including tampering with pricing, security features, or other operational aspects.
  • Engage in abusive, harassing, or disrespectful behavior toward Heykara staff or service providers.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or exploit any part of Heykara's system or Services.

8. Privacy Policy

Heykara values your privacy. Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We implement security measures to protect your data, but you acknowledge that no system is completely secure.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content, trademarks, logos, and materials associated with Heykara's Services are the exclusive property of Heykara or its licensors.
  • You may not copy, distribute, or modify any Heykara content without prior written consent.
  • Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Heykara provides its Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied.
  • While we strive to offer high-quality and timely services, we do not guarantee that our Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet all customer expectations.
  • Heykara is not liable for damages resulting from delays, service disruptions, or external factors beyond our control.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heykara's liability for any claim arising out of the use of our Services shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question.

11. Termination

  • Heykara reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services if you violate these Terms or engage in any misconduct.
  • If your account is terminated, you will not be entitled to any refunds unless otherwise specified.
  • You may also terminate your account by contacting Heykara support.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
  • In case of disputes, parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution before resorting to legal action.
  • If no resolution is reached, disputes will be handled through arbitration or litigation in the appropriate courts of Nigeria.
